Earliest Known A. D. Leveridge Diamond Millimeter Gauge c. 1930 & Ring Sizer

This is a black painted brass Millimeter gauge. On the back it has “Made in Germany” .
I have had it for years and only recently noticed that originally it had printing on front, which has worn off, but in the right light you can still read on the left side below the dial  "The
A. D. Leveridge
Millimeter Gauge ".
And on the right side : " M. M inside of Bezel"
On the right side around the pins that stick up : " Example Size Gauge"
On the right side near the bottom : "Stone with an arrow pointing left."
Around the dial in the center it reads "This center dial is for finger sizes"
Patented D.R.M.G." This stands for Deutsches Reich Geschmacksmuster the German patent used until 1945.
From the internet I found that Athos D. Leveridge was in the American Navy in WWI and seemed to have gone into the diamond business around 1922. He was granted a French patent for setting stones in 1925.
In 1946 a member of the family and firm Therese Leveridge wrote an article stating their first dial gauge came out in 1926 and improvements were made until 1937.
In 1937 he came out with a diamond gauge that looks much the same as today’s, he is also credited with supplying with the 1937 model the first set of tables which approximate the weight, based on mm measurements.
This is either the 1926 model or at least one prior to 1937.   The diamond gauge is still accurate and the ring sizer also is accurate. My guess is this is the gauge that Leveridge used to produce the tables for the 1937 model.
It is in fairly good condition, but much of the paint has worn off, and the writing is extremely hard to read, also someone scratched FACTORY on the back.
It is 3 ¾”
